My trunk is not is not locking when I press the lock button on my key control twice (I heard the doors lock and the a horn) All other doors lock ... Power Liftgate does not work. It is not responding either to my keyfob or trying to manually pressing the button at the back. No beeps, no clicks, nothing.May want to first check your fuse box to make sure the liftgate fuse wasn't somehow blown during battery replacement. :edit: Also if fuse looks good, another step you can try is to manually open and close the liftgate using the emergency latch inside. a '16 CX9 user fixed theirs by disconnecting battery terminal but that was for a windshield ... My 2018 CX5 hatch won’t open. Not with the button on the fob, the button on the dash or the button on the batch. I called to bring it in but it’s gonna be $150 just to diagnose and then they will apply that to the total cost of the repair.Always gotta remember to lock the door after closing the trunk. Actually its working but everytime you go near the hatch it will always auto unlock so it feels like its not working. Perform this to make sure. Perform auto lock and walk away. When you hear the second beep , leave your fob well away from your vehicle and check if hatch is still ....
